Unbelievably youthful at open, this 21 year-old took an hour to open up, and it did with a tobacco and cherry laced nose, steeped in wood. Sweet cherry, leather and subtle notes of clove and vanilla. Lighter side of Barolo, not the most complex, but delightful. — 4 days ago
My first ever authentic Sicilian Nero. Very impressed lots of dark fruit and spice and some silky tannin. Cheap Australian variants of this grape gave me the impression it was fruity and light. I have been schooled I will look for more of this, very impressed — 10 days ago
