White peach, baked/stewed apple and pear, hint of pineapple. Bright acidity. Not much minerals in this one.

A consistent and solid choice for affordable Chablis. It is lacking in complexity, but demonstrates some of the trademark Chablis qualities of minerality, citrus fruit, and a nice clean finish- a good pairing with cheeses and appetizers of almost any type.

On the lean and racy end of the chardonnay spectrum, which is usually my sweet spot. I wish there was a little more... something here. Maybe it needs another year in the bottle? Fine, but there's more interesting ground to trod at this level and price point.

Nose: green apple actually. Saline. Closed. A touch of coconut, which is not what I expected.

Palate: mineral, lime, closed.

Shows lemon zest, some salinity, acidity and green apple. What was available near Penn Station and simple, clean, linear wine.

Lemon curd, lime zest, a bit of wet stone, zesty but missing the marine quality that I love in Chablis.

Very pale green color with buttered toast, green apple, lemon, lime and wet stone aromas. On the palate it's approaches medium-bodied and is very fresh with green apple, mixed citrus and a hint of white peach flavors and an appealing minerality with a lingering finish.

So it's clean and well faintly smoky...it's solid, but wouldn't go first choice on it.
