What a marvelous Pinot Noir from...Chassagne-Montrachet? Makes one wonder if the white Montrachet truncations should be left to Chevaliers and Bâtards and Puligniers? Don't get me wrong; I enjoy Chassagne a la Chardonnay as much as the next guy but perhaps these soils are better suited for reds of a fine jones elegance.

Nicely balanced wine with minerality and crisp stone fruit on the palette. This wine paired as well with salmon and cheese as it did with roasted duck breast!

2019 vintage. Firing right now. Beautiful, gentle oak framing that Caillerets minerality. Delicious.

Medium yellow. Aromas of citrus ( lemon) and some pear. Crisp on the palate with strong citrus (again lemon) and a hint of flint? On the finish.
