Quite rich on the nose, the palate is lean and elegant showing baked red and black fruits, spices, a subtle earthiness, and a cool minerality. The finish isn’t very long but this is a super solid deal for a premier cru Burgundy 👍🏻

Smells like a good Gevrey. Really dry & tannic. Nothing special. I Don’t like 2005 vintage. The wines from 05 tasted really good when they were released and they closed down shortly after.

Another great opportunity for 14 euros a glass at Ma Cuisine. (Make reservations well in advance.) Powerful red burgundy with some age, yet very nuanced on the close, with notes of earth, minerals and fruit.

Restrained dark fruit, elegant, silky texture and plenty of lovely fruit. Drinking in the sweet spot with bouef bourgogne at Ma Cuisine!

Very fruity and open, showing simple red berry and decent structure.

Domaine Tortochot. Advancing flavors, but with a solid fruit core and structure remaining. Pairs beautifully with pigeon roti au jus, and and absolute steal at 70 euros

2009 vintage. Decanted and tasted after 30 mins and 1.5 hours. Small traces of sediment. Good cork. Woodlands nose with a touch of spearmint. Light body. Subtle concentration with earthiness and lingering, delicate flavors. An absolute joy to taste red Burgs such as this with a bit of age on them. A portal to the past. 6.30.24.

Better as the Vosne but still not that great.
