Thus afternoon's wine that I picked-up yesterday is the 2015 Domaine Tollot-Beaut Chorey-Les-Beaune Pinot Noir. What a beautiful wine to start the weekend off with.
I am totally loving the aromatics on this wine. There are beautiful notes of strawberry, cranberry, cherry, hibiscus, clove, mushroom, rose petal, light campfire smoke and forest floor.
On the palate there is tart cherry, cranberry, raspberry, clove, mint, spice, mushroom and an earthy forest floor.
This wine is medium to full bodied with a silky smooth mouthfeel and a mouth watering medium + acidity and medium to plus medium fine mouth coating tannins that move right into a long fresh red fruit finish. What I really love about this wine is it has a wonderful purity about it and is extremely well balanced. I hope everyone's weekend is a good one. Currant, fresh mushroom, pine, dry forest floor, molasses, dried rose pedal, creosote, light reduction and a bit bitter. Tannins not resolved and need time in a bottle.

This 2020 is sensational. Deep aromatics and flavors of fresh forest, briar, blueberry reduction, cordial cherry, cinnamon, cardamom. Big and bold and arresting.
