Outstanding village. Predominantly black cherries with a great salty afterburn. Maybe too good for a simple lunch.

Direct black cherry and limestone aromas and palate. Textbook Morey...all refinement, elegance, roundness, with the special lift and class of the best of the '14s. #moreysaintdenis #amiot

Showing way too much cherry Lifesaver fruit for my taste. I've had better luck with this producer in the past.

2001, beautiful wine, great fruit still, but layers of tea leaves and spicy tobacco

Super young. Once the primary & quite expressive fruit blows off, this is actually quite nice. Still on the fruitier side, but there’s a savoury, earthy whiff to it. Airy cherries, baking spice, good depth.
On the palate this is still youthful LY chunky but there’s good balance, good depth. This is surprisingly high in alc (14.5%!!) and it’s noticeable.
Very curious how this will evolve.

A great Burg no stems. From Amitie Wines in Carlsbad. I do have no formal notes. Elegant and very drinkable right now.
