Forgot how good these wines were - tart red fruit.

Bright translucent red, with lovely red cherry and floral character. Opens nicely with a bit of air, but remains a bit dry, with a slightly bitter quality on the finish. Really pretty just the same.

2010. A touch riper than anticipated. Third vintage, if memory serves.

Never seen this vineyard before. A little hard and backwards compared to some other '08s I've had and my experience with d'Angerville. Château and Estates back label.

Too drunk to fully appreciate. Sadly.

2009 - Muted nose, but slight notes of bing cherry and voilets. Higher alcohol definitely shows through with a bit of heat on the nose and palate. Acid is late and a little aggressive. Strong tannins. Wine is a little clumsy right now and I'm not sure that the fruit will show through in the future.
