Montmain Chablis Premier Cru Chardonnay

This is the gran cru grenouilles. Had before, same great wine. Precise and focused. Lemon curd, tons of minerality, great acid.

Lemon smoke, pith and zested peel, green beans, wax bean, lime, pestelled chive, chunky seltzer. Speedy and clean palate shows lime and lemon citrus, underripe green pear, lime pith, chalky pink grapefruit, salinity, orchid stem. Great wine with plunging depth, spritely while well defined and deftly crafted. A joy.

First time having Montmain. Lemon curd, lime zest, tons of minerality, precisely driven mouthfeel, salinity, lots of lees contact, mouth filling acidity and a long finish.

Wonderful smell of macerated lemons and creamy vanilla. Silky lemon and green apple taste with soft sour notes that linger deliciously. Has a nice creamy taste in the mouth. Delicious!

Racing acidity, strong chalky mineral, very rich. White peach pith, green apple fruit.

Erg- oxidised. Like drinkable-ish but likely was great.
