Thought I be a bigger fan a funk that I didn’t enjoy out of a magnum

Needed 2 hours. Minimum. Nose is super mineral. Some cherry. Still almost mute at 2 hours. Palate is round and squishy with good freshness. Not the purest wine. A bit lacking in fruit sweetness. But well made. But also lacking in inspiration.

Overnight this improved and gained depth, fruit and character. 8.8 to 9.0.

Great nose. Floral, sour cherries, granite and very mineral. High-toned. Like a perfume. Palate is gorgeous. Elegant and fresh with deep cherry fruit. Terrific sap and fruit depth. Big structure and depth. Chewy and so long. Classic. Has 10-15 years ahead of it. Terrific persistence. So seamless and fresh. Brilliant.

A perfect match for the beef carpaccio we had as one of 5 courses this New Year's eve (and the best Fleurie I've tested). Strawberries, raspberries, violets and a chablisesque minerality on the nose; hiiigh acids, same fruits and liquorice dominated the taste and was followed by a delightful and refreshing finish!

More Pinot than Gamay. Also not very specific.

Beautiful! Pretty dark fruit for a Fleurie.

Burgundy style Beaujolais on dark fruits and needed time and air to reveal itself a little bit. 88-89

Un Bojo de style Bourguignon qui a eu besoin d’air pour se révéler un peu, fruits noirs, expressif et assez structuré. 88-89
