Domaine Jean Tardy et Fils
Les Boudots Nuits St. Georges 1er Cru Pinot Noir
Still concentrated red at the core with beautiful garnet towards the rim. The nose shows classic aged Boudots and thrives on the palate with vibrant 1990 acidity. This is at maturity, should definitely enjoy now.

Jun 12th, 2018A drying, volatile note on the finish, but otherwise opulent and giving. I wonder if many 2000's are beginning to fade.

Nov 3rd, 2013Drinks more like a vosne romanee than a NSG. Red and blue fruits clear, focused, deep and sweet. Strong and distinct spiciness like a VR along with a bit more full fruit and silky texture. Opens up with sandalwood as well. Still with hints of leather and just a hint of muskiness but overall very elegant. Just just beginning to show it’s stuff

Initial nose of a just lit duraflame log which blows off to reveal savoury roast beef blood and mushrooms over earthy dark red berry. Over two nights it drank middle aged with no sign of drying fruit. A winner. 2003
