Not a mind blowing nose but has a very elegant truffle, forest floor and stones soil nose with hints of baking spice and fresh to decaying rose petal. Incredibly elegant plate, sleek tannins but with some spicy red fruit, still has time.

Brilliant. Savour with light raspberry fruit. Lively acidity, pure expression of terroir. Little touch of tobacco on the back palate

a gift from Jerry, not usually imported, excellent Vosne-Romanée premier cru w room to grow. Lovely wine.

2007 vintage. At Boca di Lupo. Pale to medium ruby hue. Wonderful nose of black cherry, crushed raspberry, sweet strong spice, mineral wet rock, gun powder and slight reductiveness. Superb. On the palate, medium body, medium plus acidity, medium alcohol and medium plus concentration. Very silky smooth texture. Long finish. This wine is really singing today. Power and elegance with finesse. Excellent. Drink now until 2025+

Came out ready, with tea and earthy notes, crinkly dried leaves and well integrated tannins. A bit more advanced than the Beaux Monts

Hard to decide whether this or the beaux monts was better. This was definitely more approachable now with more integrated soft tannins.

This should be a great food wine. Still have a lot of tannin but the fruit is present too
