A lot of the time Burgundy can be like roulette, hit or miss and fraught with major disappointment. This one is a winner and shows a lot about what I love about great wines from #Burgundy. #grandcru #closvougeot #grivot
Aromas of funky high toned opulent and floral red fruits, earth and spice. The palate is perfectly silky with a structural grain on the finish. There is plenty of time to sit on this, it will only get better as their is plenty of fruit, acidity and tannin for this to mature into a further distinguished Grand Cru Vougeot. — 8 years ago
