Tue-Boeuf Chorey-Les-Beaune Pinot Noir

Just singing - wonderful Asian spice notes, Cedar, with fresh earth, thyme and tarragon. Wow. Everyday drinking bliss

I like the nose on this a lot. Crunchy cherry, crushed rock dust, a little sweet brown baking spice, and dry bramble. The palate is a little challenging. It begins nicely with sweet-tart cherry, and very bright limestoney minerality, but it thins out quickly and acids, a bit of astringency, and hard tannins take over, creating a tough, shrill second half of the palate. I think this will be better in 2-3 years, but I’m not sure it’s ever going to lose that demanding personality. (UPDATE: On night 2, it’s a little softer and more fruit is showing on the second half of the palate.)

Light body, delicate steamy and red fruit aromas with allspice and damp earth

Oak dominant and leaning a touch hard. Sort of like a lot of 05s.

Pretty delicate Burgundian bottle. Fine notes of fruit, combined with state-of-the-art aging, woody notes (pine nuts) and a musky touch. Nice balance. Fineness and drinkability.

Quille bourguignonne délicate. De jolies notes de fruits, associées à un élevage dans les règles de l’art, aux notes boisées (pignons de pin) et touche musquée. Bel équilibre. Finesse et buvabilité.

Eh. Drinkable...too much oak influence.

Love the floral notes. Light

Interesting. Rustic Pinot w some spice. Would like to try again. Somewhat hard to gauge.
