Aug 20th, 2024Got this 2015 as a gift . Massive. Hazelnutty, amaretto cookies some pineapple and orchard fruits with a nice acid grip. Kind of the Liz Taylor of whites. Really good with an aged cheddar and a boucheron. Without a doubt the heftiest Burgundy I’ve had. Impressive yet not quite my style. Retails just shy of $200.

Jan 2nd, 2023Lovely, rich Clos du Château, Château de Meursault, Bourgogne Blanc. 2017 Vintage. This wine was pale gold, with prominent oak, cream, and butter characteristics on the nose and palate. Also ripe melon, peach, pear, and wet stone notes. This wine paired well with pan-seared sea bass, steamed green beans, and roasted potatoes. This wine would also fare well flying solo.
