Lovely delicate mint laced Hermitage. Soft and elegant. Deliciously tripping across the palate!

Meh, would have expected a lot more...Hermitage is not a an automatic ticket to Syrah bliss.

Blew my mind with fresh complex fruits and wonderful secondary notes when I first opened this. Then this #hermitage died fast. #domaineremizieres

Dark, big fruit and huge tannins

Birthday wine. Really good pairing with lamb roast at dad’s. Wine really opened up and paired well. Probably a little past it’s prime, but really smooth with great blackberry and dark cherry flavor. Medium-length finish.

Lovely Syrah, nose of wonderful spices and earth, literally dances across palate into long finish.

Smoky, meaty, peppery, dark fruited Syrah. Barnyard, damp earth and black tea.
On the more modern side of the spectrum in its adolescence, but nowadays, as a grown-up, it’s starting to show a more gentle and nuanced personality.
I do not reach RP/Jeb-scores, but this certainly is a 93 in my book.

Double decanted. Tasted 1+ hours later. This got better with air. Cassis, tobacco, pepper. Tart. Savory. Complex. Long finish. Delicious.
