Evolved but still super-fresh with dried stone fruits and ripe citrus and white floral scents. Lively palate, with great balance, drive and minerality. Another five years should do wonders with this one. 92+

Dec 25th, 2016A bright and fresh Savenniéres that happens to be 11 years old. I'm sure the screw cap that topped it off plays into the aging (or lack thereof) process significantly. A mouthful of minerals and lemon peel, with a great acidic spine and a medium-long finish. Nice wine. - edit an hour later: grown in complexity, a very interesting wine
