Vieilles Vignes Pouilly-Fuissé Chardonnay

Good QPR and nice concentration & acidity

Golden color with some viscosity; nose is composed of red apples, pear, apricots and oranges, a sleek oak profile, almonds, butter and wet stones; fruit-driven with high acids and much from the nose in the taste. Really great chardonnay experience clearly distinct from north Burgundy and Chablis.

Way riper and more malo than I'd expect from the Maconnais.
