Close out G-C?!? Don’t mind if I do. Great concentration and depth of flavor here. Lots of currant, plum, and bruised cherry. 14 months in oak (30% new). Solid villages that doesn’t sport a nosebleed valuation.

Excellent after a few minutes being opened. Deteriorated somewhat quickly after being exposed to air for 20-30 minutes

This is the Chanson/Bastion G-C…decanted 90 mins….lovely Burgh, very refined/subdued, but lacks depth to me, turned a bit sour late. Maybe a bit more earth than I like? Really lingering over it. J loves it

Vintage 2002 in 2020. This aged pinot noir is full of life and has a typical Burgundy nose: cherries, roses and earth notes. It is elegant and has enough acidity, (soft) tannins and fruit to age another 5 years or more. For me an another example that Burgundy wines, from a good vintage, can age beautifull 🍷

Unclear which Chanson this is but in the Caribbean you never quite know what you’re gonna get. This, however, was perfectly acceptable and even surprisingly good.
