Nose of raspberry tart, white pepper and coriander
Quite a new experience for me
I haven't tried many South Africans wines nor straight cinsault
Its crunchy, with a soft side.
Quite vertical wine, but velvety
Fairly long and enjoyable

Pure nose of cranberry and sour cherry. Lean structure but very seductive. Young but eminently drinkable. Excellent.

Full bodied yet delicate, black cherry, subtle tannins, pairs beautifully with angus beef.

Interesting and fun wine. Reminds me of pinotage without the bretty bandaid character. Light body with cherry cough drop, stems, little earth, dried herbs, wild berry and nice acid. Think they had a typo for the varietal.

My wine guy described this « drinky. » I have to say that I agree. Opened it to serve with BBQ, but much lighter, fruitier, less tannic than I anticipated. Not that it’s bad... just could have used something a bit bolder with BBQ.

Bright and juicy. Raspberry, cranberry, blueberry, light pepper spice, and jut hint of smoke. Lightly chilled for a delicious drink in the dog days of summer. Only 12% abv.
From 30-year old bush vine.

Soft and delicate.. very good given it is so young but it’s great in the nose.. raspberry, a tiny bit of sea salt and beach but aromatic on the palette yet very gentle to let you know she is fine to enjoy once opened

Craven Cinsaut 2020: Light-bodied. Light gentle tannins. Bright red fruits, herbs, mild oak & a hint of spice. Nice dry finish. This was a great wine find at my local wholefoods market and I will definitely be returning back for a few more bottles; the pairing potential is endless! Love the brightness & freshness! Truly inspires me to seek and try more South African wines! Have a great weekend! Cheers 🇿🇦🍷
