Beautiful beautiful blood orange red shade in the glass.
Like the zing and citrus of a spritz of the oils from grapefruit skin, the herbal, earthen quality of being treed in on a sumptuous hike.
Super crisp, like the snap of biting into an apple, super clear, fruit forward and subtly woodsy. It’s opinionated in one way, and I love that. It takes a stand in its style.

Very cheesy and funky. Really fun to drink but need to be in the mood for it. — 6 years ago
Soft and delicate.. very good given it is so young but it’s great in the nose.. raspberry, a tiny bit of sea salt and beach but aromatic on the palette yet very gentle to let you know she is fine to enjoy once opened — 4 months ago
Honest Pinot, still primary, built on a modest frame with aromas of sour cherries. Very pure. Nice but a tad short of excellent for me personally. — 3 years ago

I’ve had this wine maybe 12 times over the past 25 years. It remains the single best domestic wine I’ve ever encountered. Balance, power, and exquisite grace are the hallmarks. It bursts from the glass with pure notes of cassis and black fruit, but caresses and embraces your mouth. Pure, craven seduction that keeps you going back for more. This wine just keeps getting better and better. Perfect with rare tenderloin sliders and creamy horseradish sauce. — 3 years ago
