Quite rich throughout. Nose of spicy four berry pie. A sip is chocolate studded with dried black currants and cedar shavings.

This is the second wine of the Haut-Brion's newly acquired Château Quintus...color me impressed. Great bouquet of Cedar and blackberry. Medium bodied and well integrated tannins. Plums, leather, strawberries, cranberries on the palate. Best enjoyed in the next 5 years. Saw that it was around $35/bottle...that's a STEAL.

Satisfying, solid St-Émilion that is delightfully juicy without being overblown. Dark cherries, kirsch, baking spices are bolstered by firm, ripe tannins and refreshing acidity. A wonderful wine for any occasion to drink in the nearer term (next few years). Dragon de Quintus elevated a dinner at home, which included cheese!

Aussi bon qu'il'est beau! A little young but I can never resist a new delivery - no will power. After an hour in the decanter it was delightful but will gain in complexity with age .

Soft sweet plummy fruit, black currants, brown spices, some beefstew notes. Rounded and silky smooth, tannines hardly noticeable. Really nice!
Peak drinking.
