Right Bank Blend of Merlot (68%), Cabernet Sauvignon (32%) and Petite Verdot (6%). Bright aromas of blue/black berries, violets, tar and cedar. The palate is full of black and blue fruit with hints of chocolate, baking spices, orange peel, menthol, graphite and dried herbs. Medium/plus body and chalky tannins. Vibrant and elegant. Very classic with dark fruit, some light cedar notes, a whiff of green pepper. Very young & quite closed.
Nice mouthfeel already with beautifully polished fine & juicy tannins, great balance & poise. Nice length & presence.
7h decanting still tight. would benefit from more time & age so keep!
