Make sure to decant, at least an hour. Hint of licorice on the nose. Medium to full body, full tannins. Moderate finish. Fair amount of sediment. Went well with Girl Scout thin mints!

This is a nice wine with a lot going for it! Big graphite on the nose, blackened, brackish fish bones. Resinous tar, maple nut, charcoal, graphite, slate-y blackberry that morphs into dried black currant, espresso with chicory, licorice, black raisin, and olive tapenade! Stupendous! Not for fruit flies, but crypt dwellers: put down those frightened teens, and pick up a glass of these magma-seared, skeletal, zombie piranhas! Santé!

Remains tight and backwards. Uncork for a full 24 hours and pair with skirt steak if compelled to drink today. Despite these hurdles, there is admirable freshness and minerality.

Not bad. Darker fruit notes. Cassis coming through with some green pepper in the background.

Young and gripping but showing a lot of promise. Ripe and powerful and and tightly structured. A big improvement from the soft and overripe 2009.

Probably my favourite Bordeaux vintage but i found this a bit lacking. Still offers a fairly good QPR. Wouldnt buy it again but would drink it again 😂

Weeknight workhorse. My last bottle of 2010. In no danger of fading, but not likely to improve.
