Wow!! So so youthful on the nose. Great clarity to the colour too, with only slight bricking.
N: fresh, cool, red fruit, cranberry, cedar, clove, masala…
P: heavenly, acidity fully integrated which makes for the most supple of mouthfeels, oozing with cool blackberry, cranberry, dried fig, and savoury chocolate flavours. There are fine, sweet tannins that carry through to a long finish kissed with vanilla. This is a magnificent wine showing very well from half bottle at such age!

Classic Bordeaux, 2010, which is arguably the best year ever. Big vegetable on this. We are talking old school turnip and broccoli to your face with someone slapping you with a bag of beets. I like this a lot. I can see myself 400-500 years ago lashing someone about the face whilst drinking this from a leather bag.

Classic red fruit and a hint of spice in the nose. Palate is elegant- cherry/plum red fruit but balanced with good tannic structure. Pretty good, would drink up soon, - 88pts
