Ruby with aromas of red fruits, floral and spice notes. On the palate flavors of cherry, plum and raspberry with notes of cacao and pepper spice. Fine tannins, medium savory finish, ending with fruit, sweet spice and slight earthy mineral notes. Pair with grilled Salmon.

Nice left bank. Could do with a bit more structure. But very pleasant to drink, jumps right out of the bottle.

2020 vintage. First vintage for the Perrodo family, who bought this estate from French Bank Crédit Agricole in late 2019. True to type elegant Margaux with the hallmark freshness of this great vintage. A solid effort, but definitely not in the same league as the excellent La Lagune 2020 tasted alongside. Terrific value though. An estate to watch. Abv. 14%.

Christmas gift to myself! At last have experienced the Margaux! Definitely has some bite! A more masculine wine in structure. Smooth yet a little bramble.
Really opens up after an hour. Some floral and raspberry on the nose. The palate is velvety and berry with a little something like tar? All very cool things. I'd love to try this again in a few years to see how it changes. Merry Christmas everyone!

Holding up very well. Not going to further evolve to a better place, tho.
Sage and licorice notes on the nose, give way to sandalwood and earth on the palate. All the characteristics that wifey chooses to avoid. You need the right mindset to approach this.
