Found this older bottle. In 1989 Conundrum was born, started by Charlie Wagner's grandfather mixing wines & ended up with this unique, different and interesting white-wine blend of Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Viognier, Semillon & Muscat Canelli. Deep Straw yellow with aromas of stone and citrus fruits. Palate showed flavors of sweet ripe peaches, apricots and lemon zest, with unusual spice notes. Medium finish, ending a bit tired with fruit and spice. Ok but drink now, no further aging.

In 1989 Conundrum was born, started by Charlie Wagner's grandfather mixing wines & ended up with this unique, different and interesting white-wine blend of Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Viognier, Semillon & Muscat Canelli. Straw yellow with complex aromas from citrus to sweet. Palate showed tastes of sweet tropical fruit, ripe peaches, apricots and melons, with a touch of unusual spices, with an edge, very original. The finish is about medium and paired well with food. Nice! Consistent with last 3 vintages.

Exotic fruit aromatics and a bit of sweetness lead to a thin, ponderous finish. Approximately 8 billion better wines at this price.

Medium to deep golden yellow. Thick nose with honeycomb and a touch of stone fruits. Low acidity (4.5/10) with a medium body. Rich a touch sweet on the palate with notes of citrus and tropical fruits. A bit sour and tart in the medium length finish. Very drinkable and doing insanely well for being 15 years old. Drink now.
