Really good Chinon. This has a richness to it that you don’t find in many Chinon’s. Not too big and really smooth. Great food wine!

I wanted to wait with this wine but it keep staring me in the face - I wish I had waited- violet rim and it opened up with mushrooms and cherry fruit, cedar and perfect balance still a lot of life wish I had waited but it’s awesome 🍷

One of those aged gems you are sometimes lucky enough to find on a Wine List. Aromas of wilted rose, rosewood furniture, leather and savoury red fruits. Fine powdery Tannins. On the palate medium bodied, fading towards the end after time in decanter finishing with a faint touch of bitterness. A fine example of aged Chinon.

Tasted 15 Chinons, this was my favorite, a great all around wine, it has that "yummy factor" that kept me coming back. At the end of the day, beautiful aromatics and wonderful texture aside, it is the yumminess that really matters.

Big and meaty, still a baby in 2015 this 10 year old is drinking so well now but could easily go another 25 easy.

A wonderfully balanced wine. Red and purple fruit with A vegetal quality. Could be enjoyed alone. But something like a shepherds pie or a rustic dish would make it sing.
