Dutton Ranch Russian River Valley Pinot Noir

This was the artist label version. It was more expensive and I found that it wasn’t as good as the regular #Sonoma #loeb bottle. #pinotnoir #californiapinot

Light garnet edge to edge. Soft aromas of dark cherry, pomegranate and rose water with subtle hints of vanilla and clove. In the mouth cherry, black currant and cola dance with tasted oak, earthy mushroom and Asian spices. Powerful but restrained. Silky fine tannins lead your tongue down a long winding road of flowers, smoke and more red fruit.

2nd day had some cherry and pepper. Glad I didn't throw it out right away. Fun label for non wine geeks

I’d give the label a higher rating than the wine. Flavor lacks depth.
