Dried black cherry, fig, dried plum, licorice, tobacco, smoke, meat, leather, spices, stewed tomatoes. Tannins are still present but fine grained and integrated. Acidity still gives this wine a liveliness on the palate. Complex, elegant, seamless.

Sour cherry preserves, mint, tobacco and some baking spice on the nose. Loved the tannic structure and will only get better with age. Long finish. Cherry and red fruit flavors keep going with a slight mineral edge. Delicious now and will only get better with age.
