Embruix Priorat Grenache Blend

I remember the first time I had this wine. Loved it. Then my palate moved on and I admit that drinking this dark fruit, liquorice, blackberries, coffee beauty, 9 years old by now, is fun. Heavy on the dark, Priorat tipicity and good.

Vintage 2019 | classic smell, eucalyptus, cassis. 27 Grenache, 26 Merlot, 21 Syrah, 18 Carignan, 8 Cab Sauvignon.

Big, plummy, plush / licorice, huge abv

Dark

Needs air. Blend of 4 grapes including Merlot. Good finish.

Amazing with tapas!! Smooth

Brown sugar, ripe plums. Inky color. Iodine. Pretty flowers emerged as it cooled down and with time in the glass. Not quite clean. 15.5 alcohol

Blueberries! Oak and vanilla with a hint of minerals.

The 2016 Embruix displays concentrated, spice-tinged black and blue fruit character, with suave floral overtones and intense minerality.
