Incredibly fresh tasting for a wine of this age. Interesting Priorat blend of Carinena (Carignan-70%), Merlot (15%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (15%). Complex aromas of fresh herbs, forest floor, wet slate and ripe black fruits. Plum and prune flavors lead the palate with hints of blackberry and dark chocolate. Chewy tannins, harmonious and nicely balanced. Savory, plush and tasting way younger than its age. Brilliant! Thanking Kevin Z. for sharing this bottle. — 10 months ago
