50th Anniversary Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

Dark Ruby with aromas of ripe berry fruit and floral spice, pure Caymus signature style, easy drinking, approachable as always. On the palate flavors of ripe blackberry, black cherry and currants with complex spice showing notes of cacao, cinnamon and rich vanilla oak. Fine soft tannins, nice mouthfeel, great balance with acidity, long finish, ending with notes of oak and mineral notes. Nice!

Wonderful. I really enjoyed this. Nice slightly sweet start with a smooth finish.

We recently had this by the glass at Peaks, NYC. We enjoyed it so much that we bought a few bottles. While I consider this to be a “construction site,” I respect what the Wagner’s have accomplished. Not gonna bother with tasting notes as this is just a cherry compote fruit bomb. Tasted using a coravin as a few glasses represents a meal on its own.

Beautiful flavours or blackberries and black cherries with nicely balanced tannins. Delicious and almost sweet at times! I usually prefer French or Australian but this has won me over!

Excellent Napa Cabernet. Gift from Deuce.

Although still young, it is as always a great Cabernet by Caymus. It has a complex structure with dark berry notes. It would be great to drink after 3-5 years. It was tasted during a California trip.

Rich and lighter fruit to start with cherries, apricots, then turns dark with anise, cocoa, bark, and fig. The tannins are soft layered with vanilla.

Nice dark color. Big and bold. Flavors of dark berry and tobacco. Chewy with nice tannin structure. Very nice sipping wine.
