Still quite young and a little harsh on the palate. Undertones of cherry, leather and a little barnyard. Still a little tense and tannic, but should benefit from more bottle time. Should start to drink well in 2018.

Solid Chianti. Was left in the car, and we were impatient, so it was below cellar. Round, but cutting. Intended to pair, but bottle was gone long before dinner was ready. Interesting and, obviously, quaffable.
