Palisades Vineyard Petite Sirah

Purple color. Anise, black licorice, spice and red fruit on the very forward nose. Full and balanced body. Long finish. Youthful and exuberant but could age for a bit. Delicious now though.

Wow so good. Definitely needs a decant. I decanted for 1hr. Dark purple inky color.

Dark fruits and a floral rose petal on the nose. Big black and blue fruits with a touch of spice on the palate.

15.4% alc., about 165 cases made.

I usually save my PS purchases with the intent to enjoy them 25+ years down the line.
This one will no doubt go the distance and although very good I do lack an extra layer in the wine to warrant long aging so my remaining bottles will probably meet the corkscrew over the next 5 years.

Stunning! The aromatics is just wow-ish, but it's even better on the palate. Loads of darkish fruit, brilliant acidity and overall balance. Mike Officer's best wine to date?

Blackberry vanilla custard nose with some wood spice undertones. Enticing. Great balance of fruit, dried fruit and wood on the palate. Luscious and chewy. Mid life. Craving ribeye.

Drinking very nicely now. Decant an hour prior to drinking.

This seems like it has another 30 years on it. Rich, jammy, tannic, olive. Nose is crazy
