Tried ‘17 & ‘18, side by side. From Sardinia this white Vermentino is pale lemon with aromas of tropical fruits and honeysuckle notes. On the palate flavors of fresh peach and honey with lemon citrus. Medium finish, crisp and refreshing ending with citrus notes. Not much difference between years, ‘18 a bit more freshness. Tasting Sample!

Jan 26th, 2020Simple white wine that pairs nicely with pesto. Honeysuckle, white peach, nectarine, lemon, and floral hints. Could use more acid for better balance. Would also be great for a very hot summer afternoon on its own.

This is the second worst wine I have ever had it is worse than Manischewitz the Italians who drink it for long life can continue drinking it for long life but as far as I'm concerned it's not worth the effort time or money to even look at the label of this wine

Good summer time wine. More citrus than other stuff. A little more acidic than balanced.

Great weight, gooseberries in syrup, kumquat, and zest. Long acid finish. Easily an attitude adjuster in the heat of summer.
