Crunchy lighter-bodied Cab Franc from Italy. Perhaps less green bean than the typical Loire, but plenty of tomato leaf here. Accessible fruit, high acid, and value priced. However, my guests that evening were not persuaded.

Gotta love an amazing Cab Franc at this price. Absolutely delicious. Floral nose. High acid, you can almost chew this. Green bell peppers with ground black pepper as well. Earth and moss. Stays on the palate for a long time.

Rich and warm, vegetal and bell peppers, red and black cherries. Balanced acid and tannins, medium body, all the aromas come through on the palate. Wines like this make me think I could enjoy a wine trip to Italy.

A really solid Cabernet Franc. A deep plum colour with a nose of cedar, campfire and vanilla. Chewy tannins in a vegetal palate with hints of dried currents, blackberries and smoke.
