Leather on the nose. Earthy/game-y taste with hints of smoke, vanilla, black cherry and plum. Wine was drinking very well after an hour of decanting. We picked this bottle up while in France a few years back. Good pairing with tenderloin. — 7 years ago
Soft tannins. Black cherry. Medium+ body. A touch of vanilla and baking spices. Easy drinker on its own but paired well with stuffed shells in a meat sauce — 7 years ago
Light bodied. Reminded me of a less fruit forward version of a beaujolais, with some earthy notes on the nose and palate. Great summer red that paired nicely with cheese focused apps. — 8 years ago
Restrained but present oak with tastes of burnt caramel. Pear and green or yellow apple. Medium to full body, with a straw color — 7 years ago
Deep golden color. Caramel and nutty nose that reminded me of a tawny port. Dry and surprisingly crisp for a wine it’s age. Fruit was subtle, nectarine and pineapple, Graham cracker and a ginger spice. — 7 years ago
Straw color. Apple and tropical fruits like pineapple, honey dew, and mango. A slight creamy note that is balanced by the medium to high acidity on the back end. — 7 years ago
Drinking well at 20 years of age. Light bodied with a nice brick red color. Strawberries with mellowed tannins. Sediment was very fine but present as expected for a wine sitting in bottle this long. Paired very well with duck confit — 7 years ago
Vanilla on the nose. Tropical fruits, coconut, green apple and citrus zest. Zap of acidity at the start on the front of the tongue, complemented by the fruit flavors. — 7 years ago
BlackBerry early finishing with mocha and earthy leather tastes. Tannins have mellowed and this bottle was drinking fantastic. Paired with grilled lamb lollipops. — 8 years ago
