I've died and gone to heaven. This wine is AMAZING. Medium to light although it has characteristics of a BIG red. Unbelievable.

Outstanding #aglianico #wine from #irpinia still young and perfect at same time. Light, but strong, round and #tannic. #Tannins are very elegant. It's an inspiring journey through this fabulous #grape from south of #Italy

VA is front and center, along with a little funk. Age has been kind, tannins are well integrated and the wine is complex. I liked this more then newer vintages of Giardino. The newer vintages tend to have riper fruit and a lot more funk.
