Buchegger Grüner Veltliner Gobelburg - Kamptal DAC Ried Geppling

This sustainable farmed Austrain Grüner Veltliner is robust and jazzy. Round mouthfeel with seductive aromas of honey, Meyer lemon, Bartlett pear and a hint of yeatiness. Yum!

As of 2016, name has changed from Gebling to Ried Geppling in accordance with Erste Lage administrative rules.

So crisp. Great day drinking wine.

Delicious. Peach notes. Very little acidity perhaps that’s why it’s almost too easy to drink.

Very good and reasonably priced (under $30). Crisp apples and some floral notes. Easy to drink, food friendly, sustainably farmed. What’s not to like?

Really good. Little fizz on the tongue, wonderfully acidic, lightly floral with some pear- like hints. Begs for another sip. .... well, that might be me....

Well, this is tasty. Nose of melon and white flowers. Wonderful acidity and mouth feel, melon, honeydew, white flowers. Really well balanced. Good with light curry. Very Sancerre forward for a Gruner.

Excellent and unexpected in taste.

I enjoyed this. And so would Polkow.
