Either the wine is shut down or possibly my nose. Elegant profile dominated by light red fruit and perfumed florals, but very, very faint. Better on the palate but primarily skewed towards fruit and tea with slightly elevated alcohol. At the moment it reminds me of a less concentrated Williams-Selyem

Nice developed nose dark with medium to dark color, slightly acidic, but full bodied complex body with a moderately long aftertaste. It stood up well to a big early 1990’s California Cab& surpassed a very good Vosne-Romanee.

Opens up wonderfully. From slatey, earthy to round cherries and dark berries with great depth and layers.
