Developed to its best, and I doubt it'll ever get better. Warm earth and brooding fruit, integrated yet present oak, with caressing tannins on the fair lengthened finish.

Solid wine. No formal notes, but drinking young and very powerful.

Had the 2013 last year at Bazaar in Miami and it was a bruiser. In contrast, this is much softer but very savory. Black fruit, leather and spice. Only open about 45 min and starting to open nicely.

Quite nice. Needs to open and definitely serve on the cooler side - at first the oak and 15% pops too much. Dense and structured, with lots of dark red fruit and drying tannins. Perfect with a fatty pork chop.

Cork had gone which meant some filtering. Not so fun. Wine hadnt been well kept but had resisted. Very complex flavours and clear quality shone through, even though it wasnt at its best. Should have cracked this open a year ago!
