Dark violet-red color with aromas of fruit, sweet spices and pepper notes. On the palate flavors of blackberry, blueberry and plum with cacao, cinnamon and black pepper. Firm tight tannins, long finish ending with fruit, spice and herb mineral character.

Blueberry and dark, but watery and rough. The bottle doesn’t say crinza. Can they stop making crinza (as in all of rioja and rbd)?? The oak is rough, the tannins not soft enough and fruit not there for the type of wine. Tastes unloved.

Tried twice, very nice! Deep Ruby with aromas of ripe dark fruits, flinty spice, floral and oak. On the palate flavors of blackberry, black cherry & plum with hints of espresso, cacao and licorice wrapped in subtle oak. Firm tannins, great old world balance with acidity, full body, long finish ends with fruit, oak, spice, and earthy mineral character.

A bit bizarre and tad unfocused, this really needed food to be enjoyed. Showing a concerning amount of volatility, yet very generous with its cherry, sweet leather and pipe tobacco character. A real winner with charcuterie, this match seems it’s proper context.

Strong, full flavored and gets drier with food. Awesome wine from Ribera del duero region. Without food, it changes character and is much sweeter & smooth. Over time, it just taste better & better

Always solid and really good for the price. IMO Spanish wines always over deliver

This one of my favorite value wine from Spain. Emilio Moro produces great Tempranillo from Ribera del Duero. Solid red true to the grape. Medium bodied, fruity and long palate. Great with my rib eye at the Huisache Grill in New Braunfels.
