Appearance was deep ruby, almost garnet. Medium intensity of cherry, strawberry, chocolate, vanilla, and plum aromas. On the palate a very intense flavor that matches the nose with hints of nutmeg, cocoa, leather, cedar, clove, toasted oak. Alcohol is medium+, tannin is medium, body is medium. Finish is medium + Tannin gives a very bitter intense flavor that lingers into a very smooth finish. Overall, a very intense wine that requires a little time to open up. Wine is balanced, an outstanding wine.
