Big. Bold. Really wish I had access to this more often. I love Tannat. Paired with smoked BBQ baby back ribs it is such a stiff and rugged varietal. #spaghettiWestern

Dry and smoky. Earth and spice. Cool 😎 wine from Uruguay.

this is the juiciest example of #tannat I've ever had! red & black fruits, peppery, spicy, feels herbal fresh w fine dry finish

Smarties overload. Lacked the aromatics and attractive boldness I love in #condrieu Strong acid seems out of place. Dull and simple. #uruguay #viognier

Previous reviewers spoke of overbearing tannins in 2015 vintage. This does not come through at all in the the 2014 vintage.

Bold, full bodied, very fruity and very well balanced. A delight on the nose and the palate. Can certainly be enjoyed without food. Bravo.

Smokey, bitter, punchy. Delicious but needs a big dish to stand up to it

Stinky barnyard, wet hay, decomposing matter. This is my kind o nose.

Tart cherry skins, the white flesh of an orange, pomegranate seed.
This wine is layered in complexity, spiraling down a staircase of terroir into a rich blend of stone licking acidity and hints of maybe a touch of tannin that may be a ripe stairway back up, to the tipple of the glass, to descend again.
Uruguay. Tannat.

Tastes like a French wine. In between Burgundy and Bordeaux. What’s in between Burgundy and Bordeaux? RHONE! *Wrong* (Trump voice)
