Bodega Garzon
Tannat
Deep Ruby with aromas of red fruits, floral and spice. On the palate strawberry and cherry flavors with notes of cacao and tobacco, firm tannins, medium finish ending with fruit and spice.

Jan 22nd, 2020Good Cabernet substitute. Big dark fruit. Raspberry, cherry, plum. Chocolate and white pepper. Fine but firm tannins. Quite nice.

Apr 14th, 2016Brawny and intense, as I expected, but well made. Plenty of oak but the wine had a strong personality to go along with it.
The color is a dark red core with red edges.
The nose is smoky, with campfire and toasty oak, with black cherry, plum and spice. On the palate the tannin is firm and dusty, providing for a stern frame for the fruit, tar, and spice. My first Tannat, reminded me of Malbec from Argentina. #tannat #uruguay 🇺🇾

Tannat like you've never tasted it! Uruguay does it.

May 28th, 2015Absolutely gorgeous red! Dark chocolate hints with cigar smoke and earth. Many layers.

Jan 19th, 2020Green apples and sea salt on the nose. Unripe red fruit on the front. Light tannic structure. Lots of high notes on the finish. It’s not the horse can waltz — it’s that it can dance it al all. But seriously, it’s more drinkable than a lot of Bordeaux’s I’ve had.
