Aged for 15 months in French oak, deep Ruby with aromas of dark fruit and floral spice. On the palate flavors of blackberry and ripe cherry fruit with cedar, vanilla and black pepper spice. Firm full tannins, medium length ending with fruit and spice.

Still very young, but approachable with food. Dark fruits, minerality, tar, dried herbs medium tannins and nice acid. Malbecs from Argentina are usually not my cup of tea, but the high elevation wines have some style and grace. Had with duck, worked great.

Nice fruity nose with cherry and black fruits. There is another thing lurking in the back which is a bit spicy and meaty. The palate is well done with a good acid drive but a nice roundness all around. The fruits are singing, there is some matter and depth, some tannins spice things up in the rear with a slight drying effect and the finish is only fruits for quite a long time. Very different from the Cahors I'm used to but good nonetheless!

Very good! Deep berry, sweet, long finish. Not much tannins, little dry. Has a nice personality. Great value!

Shame on me for assuming all #malbec is jammy and one-dimensional. This wine impressed me on first sniff with an intoxicating aroma of mushroom, truffle, forest floor, touch of nail polish (but not overpowering) and distant bramble berry. Nice weight on the palate, textured tannins and a healthy backbone of acidity with a long finish. Excellent wine to pair with milder Indian food.
