My first time having this grape, thought it was just okay… Very aromatic, scents of cherry, plum, spice. However, has a very strong licorice flavor. The chili pepper finish was a nice touch. after two hours of decanting the wine has lost the licorice flavor is much more layered and complex with this nice Tanic long finish. — 5 years ago

Don’t care for this wine- very dry, cherry , plum flavors. Some spice notes... Does have an earthy-ness and semi long finish that I enjoyed. Need plenty of time to open to soften the initial sour face punch. — 5 years ago
