High Altitude Vineyards Estate Malbec 2016

Shame on me for assuming all #malbec is jammy and one-dimensional. This wine impressed me on first sniff with an intoxicating aroma of mushroom, truffle, forest floor, touch of nail polish (but not overpowering) and distant bramble berry. Nice weight on the palate, textured tannins and a healthy backbone of acidity with a long finish. Excellent wine to pair with milder Indian food. — 17 days ago

— 3 years ago

Outstanding Malbec from the highest vineyards in the world, no oak! Pure Malbec, it’s truly an exceptional wine, people not from Argentina should try this one as one☝️ of the best Malbecs in the country — 6 months ago
