Sanguine especially on the palate. High acidity med+ tannins, med+ finish, tart on the palate.

Very elegant - needs a couple of hours in a decanter before it starts to open, but then it is redolent of violet, sour cherry, leather, fennel, and forest flour. Very well balanced and deceptively graceful because there is no shortage of power here either. Long finish. Better in two or three years
