Loads of floral and aniseed, dried rose petal, fresh asphalt, sandalwood and raspberry. Firm, grippy, somewhat astringent tannins with a dry, dusty finish. Shows the high tones and prettiness of La Morra very well.

What a surprise, well aged in our family cellar, this wine rose to the top in a great line up. Dark in color and tons of black fruit on the nose, the weight and texture were great, nice and rich fruit and soft finish. What a pleasure.
